Got this to replace A broken chest strap on my backpack it was easy enough to thread through the loops and put on and the buckle works just fine. I would have preferred a buckle design where you can just slip it through the nylon webbing instead of having to run it through all of the loops from all of the buckles if that makes sense. I’ve seen other buckles that have a slit in the webbing holding portion that you can’t just slide on so you don’t have to feed the entire length through
